Getting back after the party
Plan your way home in advance: taxis are scarce in the countryside, especially late at night, so book one ahead. Walking to the castle (approx. 25 minutes) is possible but not recommended at night, as there is no cycle path along the country road.
There’s a lot of water on the property. In the dark, please use the paths across the yard rather than the meadows by the stream. The yard has lighting, but it isn’t always switched on, so a torch (or your phone) is handy.
